Description

Have you ever seen a tactile button do a headstand? This little clicky button is like a circus (circuit circus?) performer, contorting itself so its legs stick up instead of down the way most are. We think these could be used in SMT projects where you want to have a button that comes through a PCB but without the front height. These are unique and we thought some folks could probably use them in a design that needs a flush design.

The size of the tactile switch body is standard 6x6mm and the height is 6.5mm with a mounting height of 4.5mm. That means that if you have a classic 1.6mm thick PCB, the button top will rise 0.4mm over the PCB plane. If you need more height, a 0.8mm half-thickness PCB will give you 1.2mm of height above the PCB plane.

Come in a pack of 10. The pins are normally open (disconnected) and when the button is pressed they are momentarily closed.
